Desk study on Sida’s alignment with the DAC recommendation on civil society

The OECD/DAC Recommendation on Enabling Civil Society in Development Co-operation and Humanitarian Assistance was adopted in 2021 and is the first international standard of its kind. The purpose of the assignment was to assess the implications of the recommendation for Sida’s engagement with and support to civil society, considering both policy and practice. The analysis is expected to lead on to recommendations for alignment and feed into further discussions and decision-making.
