Evaluation of Sida’s International Traning Programmes as Instruments for Supporting Effective and Inclusive Institutions

International Training Programmes (ITPs) represent one of Sida’s specific instruments for capacity development since the 1980s. The objective of the evaluation is to assess the design, methodology, implementation and results of a selection of ITPs, with a view to identify lessons and draw conclusions that can guide Sida’s general approach to institutional development, and the further improvement of the ITP instrument in this regard. Jonas is the Team Leader for the evaluation, which includes a desk review, interviews, on-line survey, case studies and a field visit to Kenya.
